»Posted by on Jan 26, 2012 in Technical Difficulties | 0 comments

SPRTV would like to announce that FM/HD radio station KUVO is currently off-the-air.  Unfortunately, electronics equipment owned by KUVO has unexpectedly failed and will need to be replaced. After obtaining the necessary repair gear this week, Gary, our VP of Engineering and Site Maintenance, and Colin, will attempt repairs this Saturday, Jan 28, weather and safety permitting. Channel 10, one of our digital TV offerings, is operating at low power.  Probably the high winds did something to the antenna.  Gary and Colin will be going up to the site tomorrow to evaluate, and hopefully correct, this problem, as well as deal with other problems caused by the weather.  As usual, thanks for your patience.

The power outage has been corrected and we now have all of our stations back on the air.  Unfortunately, our Internet Service Provider is still down, so our webcam is stuck on an old image.  Hopefully they’ll correct their problem soon.
