A great big shout-out to Sandy Greenhut’s “Arts for the Summit” non-profit organization – after receiving a $1100 donation last night from the Lake Dillon Theater Company! The Lake Dillon Theater Company generously donated all of last night’s proceeds from a special performance of “Boeing, Boeing” to the Sandy and “Arts for the Summit” organization – as seed money for a major new weekend event, “Fall for the Arts” this Sept. 9-11.
“Fall for the Arts” will be a Summit County-wide weekend of free music, history tours, art presentations, kid’s workshops, theater and much more. It’s hoped that all 23 non-profit arts organizations in “Arts for the Summit” will participate. For more information, click here.
SPRTV will be there with a couple special events. Our “Music on Bald Mountain” event (currently in planning stage) was also mentioned last night as one example of the broad range of entertainment this weekend hopes to offer.
Save those dates; and congratulations again to Sandy and the “Arts for the Summit”!
